Short and long term goals

A goal is a desired  result a person or a system envisions, plans and commits to achieve a personal or organizational desired end-point in some sort of assumed development. Many people endeavor to reach goals within a finite time by setting deadlines. Goal-setting ideally involves establishing specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time-bounded (S.M.A.R.T.) you can use S.M.A.R.T when setting short term and long term goals. A short time goal is when you want to achieve a goal in a short period  of time such as a day, a week a or a few mouths . An examples of a short term goal is, paying a bill that needs to be pad, studying for a test the  next day, passing all your classes, saving money for a concert or even getting a hair cut. Long term goals are goals you want to achieve in a semester, a year, five or even twenty years. Examples of long term goals are graduating high school, going to collage or university, getting married and maybe having kids. Long term goals are our most meaningful and important goals one problem however, is that these goals are far in the future. As a result we often have trouble staying focused and remaining a positive attitude towards these goals.
